Bougainvillea and hibiscus questions?

I have 2 bougainvilleas on my front patio. I live in California where the temp is about in the 55-70s during the day and 35-45 at night. I don’t want to bring the plants inside for the winter, but I need some tips on how to care for them? They are both in pots and they are starting to lose their leaves. What care do they need in the winter?

And we have a couple hibiscus planted in the ground and they are starting to turn brown. I’m wondering if there is something I need to do to winterize them as well?
