How to secure an empty house with louvered windows?

I close on my new home on Tuesday!
But I have to leave it empty for a while during the relocation time.
It is in a beautiful area, but also an area where it is not uncommon for someone who does not belong there to make themselves comfy while it is empty.
The front door and the large window has a metal cage frame to lock, which is typical in the area.
I only have Tuesday night and Wednesday morning to add some more security features. It’s just me and I’m a petite (but resourceful) young woman.
Any exterior doors that open inwards I’ll try to nail 2 by 4’s across the inside.
The place is a fixer upper so it’s okay to butcher it a little.

My two areas I would like input on:
1) How can I make the louvered exterior windows more secure?
2) The previous owner removed the a/c window units that were cut into the concrete walls. I will have to secure some plywood over them on the inside, but that would be easy to push out with a kick. any suggestions?
