i am re-decorating my bedroom what should i do?

I am not going to paint it yet. My bedroom is a creamy, beige color. Sort of tan i guess. But i want it to have a warmer and cozy feel to it. Maybe using colors like red, orange, hot pink, or yellow for my bed set and curtains. I really need help on what to do. Pictures would be great. what should i do. I already ordered a new bed and dresser and night stand, it’s a dark brown. BTW i’m a 14 and a girl. Any ideas will be helpful??
