What is something creative I can do to hide the box spring from showing?

I would like to let the natural wood show of bed but the box spring will show if I take off the dust ruffle. It is a rustic sleigh bed and I have done the duvet in natural . I want to keep it all natural what ever I add to it but would not mind a slight hint of contrast so if color is suggested earthy is the style I like.
