will my roof collapse?

Ok so I’ve discovered a secret attic……. in my closet!!! In the ceiling of my closet has a wooden board which you can lift up. I never thought anything about that until my mom casually went in and took out some hidden stuff….yea, seems she knew about it for a while.

Anyways, the area the attic floor is the same as my room floor (attic is right on top of my room). But you can’t really walk….there are like 10 or 20 wooden rectangular poles spread around the attic vertically between the floor and the ceiling. What if i were to remove them? Are they really necessary? I want to create a get away, a lounge or something.

If i were to remove them would the attic collapse? what can i do??? i want to make a cool little hide out =D
dude, if there’s a fire why would i run in the attic? lol…. 1st its in (well, up) my closet and 2nd theres no windows….thats probably the last place i wanna be when theres an emergency
